IronGym Pull UP Bar from HELL! AS seen on TV shiznit.

GREAT product, HORRIBLE company....

Wanna get strong? Wanna get lean? Wanna get ripped? Ahhh...YES please!

Before you read this you have to check out the actual site and the product i am talking about, go HERE. (but do come back here, ya hear!)

Alright, so most of you that know me or have seen me know that i am in pretty good shape and like to workout on regular basis. Since shutting down my Lifetime, put a hole in your wallet, gym membership a year a go i had to find an alternative methods to get my daily workout. So here i was watching some TV when the commercial for the IronGym bar came up (just like on their site). At first i was saying that is pretty cool but i am not paying $60 for a metal rod with grips. But then, as much as i hate to admit it, i was sucked in by their closing technique. "Buy now and get if for HALF OFF"the announcer said. So forgoing the phone ordering process because human interaction only slows the process down i decided to go to their site and get it there. Filled out all my info got some extras like the straps for ab workouts and i was good to go. Spend a total of $50 and felt pretty good about my purchase that i made with my biz AMEX card.

So i eagerly awaited the day that my pull up bar would come so i can test their claims and save $60 per month in gym fees. Finally the day came and i got the goods. Opened the box inspected the goods and assembled it. YES, assembly of the bar is required, which is pretty easy considering i had directions :-). Placed it just like the commercials and went to work. This thing was AWESOME! I loved it so much because it was the single piece of exercise equipment that i have ever used that was actually fun and guess what it WORKED! Now i was not some out of shape guy nor was i a buddy builder but i kid you not this thing worked like a charm. I lost weight and had better muscle definition. This was the first thing i have ever bough from a TV infomercial and i was impressed. I just always thought those things were cheap and all CRAP, but this worked.

THE PROBLEM:

A few weeks passed by and i got a phone call from a company, don't recall the name because i could not understand what the person on the other end said. So i answered the phone (this is my cell phone mind you the only phone i use) from a number that i now know is from somewhere in San Diego, CA.

here is the transcript of the conversations recalled from my memory:

women speaking broken English: "ah....ahh....hello? Can i speak with G...G....GGohr...Gohr..."

i interrupt and say: "GORAN!? Yes this is what are you selling and how did you get this number!"

Woman goes into script reading mode: "yes Mr. Goran i am calling on behalf of (insert company name here) to let you know that you are receiving a free $100 gift card from us because you have such good history with AMEX card ending in XXXX where would you like us to send this car?"

NO WAY! IronGym sold MY info to this company so they can hustle me for more stuff? DAMN, sometimes i just hate marketing. I know they sold my info because i asked the lady how they got my info and she told me that it was from an online purchase around X date. WOW....IronGym you SUCK!

WHAT I DID:

So after i told the rep that i was not interested and to take me off their calling list i immediately called the number back to OPT OUT of their calling system. I also added my cell phone number to the DO NOT call list I continued to receive a call per week from these guys and every time i was polite and told them that i was not interested and to take me off their list. But his apparently did not work. Until one day, a guy called me from that company and again i told him that i was not interested and to take me of their list. He proceeded to be an idiot over the phone and try to hard sell me. I HATE THIS! Needless to say i gave him some insight on why he was being a jerk and they never called me since.

Overall i give this product a SMASH because the S*** really works! I do see now that you can buy similar products in retail stores and avoid the telemarketing battle.

My Car Export Manual finally DONE!

So i am happy to report that my eBook on how to export cars out of the USA is finally done and edited! After a long struggle and debate, mainly by me, whether or not to publish it i am putting it out on the market. I am currently in the process of creating my sales page and you can check out what i have so far HERE. Feel free to check it out and give me some suggestions before i put it up for sale. I am 100% confidant that this ebook will actually do what it says that i am willing to offer my personal guarantee.
What does that mean for you? Well, if you cant export a vehicle by reading this manual i will personally help you do it and guide you to get it done!

I am debating on putting it up on clickbank but i really don't want to cheapen my product. Even thought clickbank does carry few legit items that are worth some money.

i guess i will see what happens....

Get PAID to fill out online surveys! SMASH or TRASH?

Alright so I decided to check this out just to see how BAD I would get ripped off.

Now I am not the one to rain on someones parade or ruin their business, but this site truly blows. So the pitch is basically the same thing we all heard before; sit on your ass and make money working from home, no experience necessary, get paid to read emails, blah blah blah...

this is their headline.....

“Discover How to Make as Much Money as You
Want, Just By Having an Internet Connection,
Some Spare Time, and an Opinion!”

Wow all I need is an Internet connection, spare time, and a brain cell to form an opinion. GREAT! So knowing that this will not turn out well from the start I swallowed my pride and continued to read on. After a few minutes I was ready to make the purchase and take advantage of their "money back guarantee." Being a web savvy individual myself I always look for the "LAST CHANCE" offer that most site like this have. This basically means that the price you see on their site for a product/service that they are trying to sell you may not be the LOWEST they will let it go for.
The original web advertised price for this membership access is $68. I think this is the number they come up after digging around in their ARRS. WAY too steep for my taste for something like this. But there was hope after all! Apparently they are running a "LIMITED TIME" campaign and are willing to cut that price in HALF. Alright i didn't have to do much and already i got it for half of their asking price. So here i am down to $34 and still have a hard time pushing that buy button. I WANT A LOWER PRICE DAMN IT!

HERE IT IS:

So i go to my FireFox browser tab and click on the X to close the window. And what do you know? A nice little pop up comes up that says "ok ok alright we know this STUFF we are selling is not worth the keystroke we used to create it so tell ya what. If you click cancel on the bottom of you close window we will give you the membership log in for only $17" -NOTE i paraphrased to make it sound more exciting.
NOPE! Still not sold on your, now $17, item that is guaranteed to suck by how convincing you are making it seem that this indeed is a valuable product to purchase. I click the X button again after clicking on the cancel in the previous pop up and what do i see? Yes, another pop up window where the price is a low $7. FINE! If i was going to write this post i made as well have some experience behind it. So I make my purchase and genuinely want to make it work so i can write a more positive result. After my $7 payment was processed i was taken to yet another sales page or as we in the biz call it a "UP SALE" where they try to squeeze more money out of me. I believe i clicked through 4 different attempts at getting me to buy more expensive products. So finally i was at the members page and ready to fill out a survey to make some "QUICK CASH." There are about 4 pages of different company links to sign up and participate in their "survey" program to" get paid."
OK whatever i will try and see what happens maybe one of these will work. I picked the TOP 3 and did everything they asked me to do. Of course i did NOT put in my actual info i used my JUNK account to set these up.

OUTCOME:

After wasting an hour trying to get paid i realized that there was no such thing as "getting paid to read surveys." Most of the companies offer incentive programs where you collect their points where you can turn in for prizes after filling out so much CRAP online that your phone/email will be blasted with telemarketers/SPAM daily.

Here is their TOP suggested marketing company, CLICK HERE to be taken to the landing page. All though i would not waste my time. Collection points to get a $10 gift card is just not worth the amount of CRAP you will get in return. The bottom line is that companies like this don't really pay you for the surveys. Their main objective is to collect your information so they can sell it to third partys. ALWAYS read the privacy policy before you disclose any information online.

I have already asked for my $7 back and am waiting to see what happens with that. Keep you posted!

And for now, "Get PAID to complete surveys online" is most definitely TRASH
